This is the last outlet left to find out what's really going on with management of the labs that the well oiled LLC PR-machines would love to keep a tight lid on to avoid any embarrassment. Just look how they handled the recent WIPP fiasco! It's amazing the lies being spun out and fed to lab employees and the media by the LLC executive management team.
Thanks, Scooby. The people working at LLNL and LANL have a right to know the things that are kept from them by their managers. And for the blog posters who hate this blog and yet come back time and time again to complain about it, the solution is really very simple. Don't read this blog. But then, the motive of the vitriolic, anti-blog posters is transparent, is it not?

I beg to differ. LANS and LLNS are for profit corporations, there loyalty is not to the United States, it is to share holders to make profit. Have you ever hear of the quote "What is good for GM is not necessarily good for the United State?" This makes sense for a corporation that is trying to make profit for the shareholders. The point of the quote is that a corporation has no loyalty to the nation state it is to make profit and profit only. The point is that to put a corporation in charge on something that is vital to national interest is utterly insane and will come back to haunt you. Corporations, capitalism, and the freedom to pursue happiness are not what the government should be involved in. The government is there to protect those freedom, and placed like LLNL, Sandia, LANL and every other government lab to help protect those freedoms not to make profit for certain corporations or individuals that wish to profit at the expense of the government. -

So, you have to ask yourself, just who is the Scooby character. For example, if I worked in LLNL Security, I would do something unique like creating an "anonymous" web site, then allow miscreants to post all their tales of woe and commiseration. I then would back track their respective ip address and track them to termination. Can't be done, sail on ship of fools!

Right on. Just be truthful but also careful so we do not be tracked and fire. I like to give Scooby the benefit of the doubt. But I also wonder if Scooby would say something about him / herself to tell bloggers that he/she is not
"for" the lab. At least, bloggers would take his/her word on the honor system. -
