The TCP-1 liability is likely growing faster on a percentage basis than the UC pool due to the higher average age and salary in our limited population. It would be easier to compare the performance of assets under management on an apples-to-apples basis. Not that I have those data at my fingertips.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936951073896589340.post-37805604026848343112012-03-10T15:09:53.124-08:002012-03-10T15:09:53.124-08:00Wow .... After UCRP spotted TCP1 (Sept-2007) twice the assets ($1.745B) to cover liability for the transferred/TCP1 members, LLNS managed to go from funding level 219% (1-2008) to 104% (1-2012). Another word, if they started with 100% funding level at the beginning, they now may be filing for bankruptcy since the funding level would be at about 50%. Over this same time period, UCRP went from approx. 102% down to 82%.<br /><br />"Substantial Equivalent" ??Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5936951073896589340.post-29292360720622925672012-03-09T15:07:03.276-08:002012-03-09T15:07:03.276-08:00What a clear explanation.
