More theater.... I am so tired of this all. TERM LIMITS.

They are all going down. They just arrested two of Gulianis thugs. We are like a third world country in terms of politics.

Trump is .....gone. Now we have to ask what comes next. Will be be cuts, if so what size, or will it be the same. I cannot imagine anything staying the same after Trump is gone because the nation must change to make sure that this never ever happens again.

In what way is Trump not gone? The congress will impeach him. He could resign right than. Right now I doubt the senate will impeach him as well but more will coming. Right now 51 percent want him impeached, a few more scandals and you will have enough senators. Even if all that fails, there no way he can win reelection, so he is gone one way or another. It looks like Warren so the NNSA better start thinking about which way the wind blows.

You are very confused about the process. The House impeaches, the Senate does not. The Senate can consider the impeachment of the House and vote to convict (remove from office) or not. Or, the Senate can decide on a simple majority (51 Senators) to not even hear the Articles of Impeachment (my guess of what will happen). Therefore, Trump will be impeached and then reelected.

Things are going to go in crazy overdrive in the next 12 months. Trump could snap, there could be riots and so on and the American people are just going to get sick of this. Also more is going to come out there is going to be more whistleblowers, more of our allies are going to denounce Trump, more seniors will turn. Heck Facebook, Google and Twitter could just say no more services to anyone who supports Trump and if/when that happens Trump ratings will drop to 5%. Trump WILL NOT BE REELECTED.

Wow, much Trump hatred here.
My wife mentioned the other day she would never tell anyone in a poll or otherwise that she loves Trump.
Me, I tell some people but I am careful with most.

What !!!???!!!. They live amongst us. One thing that is likely coming is more violence, a lot more violence from the center to the left. Trump brought the on himself by making America a third world country. The question is when will Americans like you finely get sick of this and want to avoid a civil war. Your wife and you already sound like you live in fear, now things are going to get worse. Don't you want to just let it go and live in peace again?

Remember what Maxime Waters said:

"If you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere,"

The next step will be against anybody that supports Trump. A lot of people know this and are not going vote or Trump.
What we should be doing is shunning these people. Shunning, shaming these people is a statement of moral indignation that these people are not fit for polite society."

Jennifer Rubin from MSNBC said

What we should be doing is shunning these people. Shunning, shaming these people is a statement of moral indignation that these people are not fit for polite society. I think it’s absolutely abhorrent that any institution of higher learning, any news organization, or any entertainment organization that has a news outlet would hire these people," said Rubin. It’s not only that Trump has to lose, but that all his enablers have to lose, We have to collectively, in essence, burn down the Republican Party. We have to level them because if there are survivors, if there are people who weather this storm, they will do it again. They will take this as confirmation that, ‘Hey, it just pays to ride the waves — look at me, I’ve made it through.’ ... It is our job to hold them accountable, for the rest of their lives."

I still think Facebook should simply say that if they find out you voted Trump you blacked-listed from the platform. They are private company and do what they like. I think this one move alone would cause Trump to lose. We could also try netflix, Uber, Mastercard, Twitter, Microsoft, whatever saying that their services will be removed from anyone who votes for Trump.. These companies need to take a moral stance and start taking action to safeguard our freedoms from tryants like Trump.

Political discussion aside. I think the blog would do well to try and figure out what Biden or Warren will do with the NNSA labs if they get in which I think is sure thing. If Biden it could be like Obama but Warren seems to be fairly anti- nuke,

I've said for years that the only reason the US is not in a civil war is that the left, for the most part, does not believe in guns. If violence starts, presumably by Antifa or some such, it will quickly be returned/suppressed by right-wingers with their home arsenals. Then we will see what the police and military choose to do when Trump is ignored by everyone else in government, federal, state, and local. Once they delete his Twitter account, he will no longer exist.

Best be careful with this kind of talk. As much as we each think we can be just fine with just our tribe it is very unlikely and frankly dangerous. We need to look for common ground. My common ground olive branch is term limits for all these professional politicians.

Now that Trump has just set fire to the Middle East in what some are calling the greatest bungle since appeasement to Germany in 1938,it is clear that the military will now turn on Trump.

These poor posters,
their heads are going to spin out of their bodies into orbit
when Trump easily wins a second term.
Today we find out Ohio is now more of a Trump State (he won by 10 points in 2016).

It might be like 1929 when Wall Streeters were (sadly) jumping out of windows.

My favorite is enjoying Trump accomplishments with NATO, China, Japan, the wall, Mexico detain 2,000 yesterday.
I must sadly admit though I also enjoy
how Trump drives the Liberal Media and others completely nuts
like above posts that are bordering on fantasy, with all due respect of course.

For those that think the voters will turn on Trump. Who will they turn to? I don’t see a reasonable option being presented.

For people with ethics, morals, intelligence, knowledge, etc., there is an option to Trump. Do not vote for President. Save your self-respect.

"ethics, morals, intelligence, knowledge, "

I have ethics,
I have intelligence
I have knowledge.

Unfortunately I do not have morals, so I guess I must vote for somebody for president. The question is who? Lets do a matrix.

Ethics yes, Morals yes, Knowledge yes, Intelligence no, vote for Sanders

Ethics yes, Morals yes, Knowledge no, Intelligence no, vote for Warren

Ethics no, Morals no, Knowledge no, Intelligence yes, vote for Harris

Ethics yes, Morals no, Knowledge yes, Intelligence yes, vote for Butwieg

Ethics no, Morals no, Knowledge yes, Intelligence yes, Hillary

Ethics no, Morals yes, Knowledge yes, Intelligence no, Biden

Ethics no, Morals yes, Knowledge no, Intelligence no, Beto

Ethics yes, Morals yes, Knowledge no, Intelligence yes, Yang

Ethics yes, Morals yes, Knowledge yes, Intelligence yes. No one right now.

Ethics no, Morals no, Knowledge no, Intelligence no, Trump

Ethics yes, Morals no, Knowledge no, Intelligence no, Williamson

Am I missing anything?

I would only dispute Warren having morals and Harris having intelligence. Beyond that. Pretty spot on.

Pretty sad overall.

Anonymous said...

I agree, Harris can hide that she is dumb as a rock in a California election but it certainly has come out in a National Debate.
She is no long ball hitter as they say.
I also agree Warren is a little uhmmm, empty in the ,morals column having sucked on the public teat at University claiming her fake Indian Heritage.

I also would argue that Trump becoming a Billionaire in Manhattan took some thinking.

But a very fun comment for sure, I really enjoyed it:)

It appears to me that it is becoming more likely that Trump will pull a Nixon before election day.

I suspect this as well. He will declare victory and say he is leaving the country stronger than before but Pence is now the man for the job, and the job to pardon him as well. I think there is more going on right now than is even out there and that a number of Republicans are abut to jump ship. I also think Trump is not enjoying the job as much now and knowing him that is all it will take to for him to jump.

Pretty revealing here:

"My wife mentioned the other day she would never tell anyone in a poll or otherwise that she loves Trump.
Me, I tell some people but I am careful with most."

Why is that? Why the shame? Is it because you know how incompetent he is, but you like his policies on immigration? I am curious, because I see nothing about tRUMP that is good. He is highly incompetent, lies constantly and is corrupt. As important, his isolationist foreign policies are hurting America's influence and strength. ...not to mention holding back critical aid to counter Russian imperialism in the Ukraine for his own political gain.

Not shame at all, why would you assume that?? Try FEAR of being attacked, even physically, for supporting Trump, by all those "tolerant" woke progressives. There's the shame.

Violence is only coming from the right remember that shooting in El Paso and Ohio, both of these
are right wing groups inspired by Trump. The let is about tolerance and peaceful protests. The other day Trump supporters started a riot in Minneapolis. The right locks kids in cages, the right kills Kurds, the right support a wall.

Thanks for the answer. Fear, huh? I'm sorry to hear that. It is sad that America has come to this. We have a lot more in common than differences. Mutual respect for each others' views is important for moving forward. You do realize that Donald Trump is highly divisive in his speech/tweets. I am a progressive. I didn't vote for G. W. Bush. But, I felt he was my president, especially directly after 9/11. tRUMP has never tried to be president for all. I am outraged by his norm busting behavior on almost a daily basis. But, I guess tRUMP supporters like that about him. Anyway, I hope that provides insight.

Oh yeah? What about Antifa?? And Trump administration and cabinet members and their families getting accosted in restaurants, etc? And guys with MAGA hats being beaten near to death in the street in CA? Get a clue about the hatred in your party.

Antifa did not shoot up Ohio, a Miami dance club, El Paso, Los Vegas. That was all right wing. Sure maybe one of them threw a milkshake at a nazi, so what.

As for Trump administrators being accosted, compare that to being put in cage and separated from your family. The right wing is all about the hate, don't believe me just today Trump was gong on about killing people in Syria. You never saw that kind of thing from Obama.
