LANL still having trouble with financial records
RECOMMENDATIONS
We recommend that the Manager, Los Alamos Field Office, direct the Contracting Officer to:
1. Make a determination regarding the allowability of questioned costs identified in this report and recover those costs determined to be unallowable; and
2. Ensure that LANS can determine the accurate and complete universe of insurance expenses.

This is the best example of fraud, waste and abuse. Out o 10e9$, 500K are unresolved.
That is 1 e-4 missing. I would like to see anyone who could figure out over that length of period where 1e-04 of their expenses went. As an example this is 5$ out of 100,000K. Seriously.
And has anybody tried to calculate how much that audit costs? This is absolutely ludicrous.
