I think TDS is real. I do not mean the person who has the random post every now and than about Trump or someone brings him up for a minute in an hour long conversation. I am talking about the people that just go on about every day for 50% more of every conversation. Have the signs on their yard, stickers on the car and no matter what is being said it always comes back to Trump. There are not that many people like this but the ones that are can be very weird and even disturbing. No matter what do not engage them in conversation, it opens up a flood gate of talking points that never ends.
I have never seen anything like it. I think I meet a few anti Clinton people this crazy back in the day but that was one or two guys. TDS seems to be much more widespread.
When my kids where in school they had a few TDS teachers and Trump was the only thing they talked about. This has decreased but there heas been a few "breakdown moments" where the teachers just utterly melted down in a class about Trump.

Thanks for the post. I have to say that was beyond meaningless and lacking any kind of thought. I simply cannot watch CNN, listen to NPR and read the NYTs anymore. The stuff is literally at kindergarten level and lose brain cells whenever I interact with this stuff. Fareed seems to have the IQ of grapefruit and his guests are even dumber. No wonder network news is dead, no wonder no one can read the NYT times anymore. Who is the audience for this junk?
By the way the whole 1.9 million Californians leaving is nonsense since the the population has been slightly growing and steady state for the past few years. There has been no 5% drop. It is one of those fake numbers where you take the number leaving and forget about the number moving in. Lots of reasons for this like there is more mobility now due to online work.
How is it that some 25 year old with only a high school education and youtube channel can give an analysis that is 10 times better than anything that NYT or CNN can give?
