At LLNL, loyalty to the LLNS management clique, to advance one’s career at all costs, could be defined as “duty” to one’s career advancement, over “duty” to the nation and mission objectives.

A young ~40 something NIF employee with young children at the time, committed suicide at LLNL under LLNS “Tech NIF management. What did LLNS management” and the DOE/NNSA do in response to prevent this from happening again? Zero. I hope his kids are OK. But the kids deserve the truth. Time for those young adults to start asking “contributing factors” questions.

I don’t know with certainty who this person is. Having said that, this type of person, devoid of any material “Emotional IQ” within LLNS management, was probably a contributing factor in Scott’s passing, with his young children left fatherless. Very sad.
Uncouth business practices can occur when for profit entities, that have no worrisome competition, or required transparency. This would include of course, Cornell University and the alleged sexual assaults.
No bid contracts for decades, have consequences, including LLNS.
