How strong of a person are you?

Please listen to this lecture and ask yourself a question. How do you rank in comparison?

I watched it and I'll be the first to tell you that I could not say what this man has said nor can I relate in any fashion to his experiences. It would be impossible for me to make a closure to life lecture such as his. We come from entirely two different worlds with entire difference experiences that no one would ever want to hear about and this transition hasn't given any signs of there being light at the end of the tunnel.

Thank you Doobydew for sharing such an inspiring story!
This clip reminded me to be thankful for the present and the health I enjoy. Something to remember when we think we got it bad!

Thought provoking. Now if the lab would only direct its resources at solving problems like his. We waste too much time on politics, and ranking, and other things that deliver no value to anyone but ourselves.

I agree but we are just pawns that follow the rules established by management who know best. As far as "deliver no value to anyone but ourselves", well, I'd saw we need to deliver goods to ourselves and to the future of the nation and the world, such as alternative power and renewable energies making us totally "independent" from anyones valued resources that currently manipulating the word economy with is relative to people lives in all ways, owned by big business and corporate enterprise that could care less about YOU.
