They could cut the number of fed staff in the Livermore Field Office, and no one at LLNL would notice any difference.

A reduction in the size of the NNSA BUREAUCRACY? Good golly, what's next? NIF reaching the break even point?
No.
The Albuquerque area office should have been zeroed out decades ago.
