Going to a cold play show is already showing bad judgment.

There are many ways to effectively conceal marital infidelity by an employee in a company A leadership position, with another employee in company A, such as witness intimidation, financial compensation, gag orders, and of course, unilaterally and abruptly, transferring someone in a leadership position accused of such misconduct, to another position, under the guise of such a transfer having
some greater importance to company A goals. These tools are effective in concealing such behavior. But as recent events have shown, a Jumbotron or “Kiss Cam”, expose what was likely already obvious to many, and is a “Royal Flush” poker hand event, where the winnings are the expectations of employees impacted, the reputation of the company, and the demands of stakeholders for prompt corrective action, including publicly firing employees that engage in conduct that grossly violates company policy.

This is kinda like having an organization where the workers could lose their jobs if they get accused of a DUI, yet the CEO gets a DUI and keeps every aspect of their job. The class or Caste system is alive and well.

6:36 -- Aren't there places like France that are more easygoing about stuff like that? They still have lots of nuclear energy and bombs, so it seems to be working out for them, and they don't seem that unhappy overall.

In France this us no big deal but in the US this is problem for the girl bosses. If this was a women CEO it would be called stunning and brave.

I can’t speak to policies of France. The issue with USA National Labs and holding a security clearance given our very explicit clearance policies, is being vulnerable to exploitation that could compromise national security and obviously your perceived trustworthiness.

If you don’t avoid or promptly disclose your conduct and get caught, and say, “well, they are cool with this behavior in France”, you might lose your security clearance.

Unless you are a Lab good old boy or gal, or are a DEI privileged employee without Jumbotron like exposure of your conduct.

Agreed. A high profile manager charged with a DUI, or a high profile swinging d_ck manager, usually get to keep “every aspect of their job” including their security clearance. It boils down to a conscious decision, to either let the employee face the consequences of misconduct with the LSO without leadership support, or preventing or politically “massaging”, what gets to the LSO with strong leadership support.

Typically modern CEO / down to middle management:

Those rules are for thee, not for me.
