LANL issue on tritium gas containment

LANL issue on tritium gas containment

The DoE Office of Safety report just adds to the pile of recent blunders. With the budget cuts looming in the next few weeks, it will be tough for Congress to resist having hearings on such matters.

No comments because this is a non-issue - typical LASO boilerplate survey findings; several technical violations of the requirements but no hazards identified. What a waste of government (taxpayer-funded) time. In the old days, tritium exposure was treated by application of copious quantities of free beer, to induce rapid passage of the isotope in urine. Very short half-life. End of problem.
