This should make for some interesting reading over the summer, as the contract re-compete gets into full swing.

My general opinion of Chuck was that he was extremely arrogant, egotistical, and expected all his findings (while he worked in Audits/Assessments) to be addressed immediately regardless of the risk. Also, its ironic he can't speak to the amount of his monetary settlement with LANL. He loses all credibility until he comes forward (i.e. public) on this. Does he have now have something to hide?
The anti-nukes in Santa Fe will salivate over this book. To anyone who actually knows anything this is a very blatant attempt to suck money out of people who don't know anything, using innuendo and half-truths. Very blatant.
Chuck is an egomaniac. His 15 minutes of fame were up years ago.
Chuck lost much of the community's' support many years ago when he got the DOE all riled up with his claims that the "Topper Man" mural in the Los Alamos gym was showing a secret "white power" hand signal. DOE forced the mural to immediately be repainted based on Chuck's bogus complaints of racism.
There is a lot wrong with LANL. Unfortunately, Chuck Montoya was one of them. He has a rather pathetic history of crying wolf far too many times.

Chuck Montano not Montoya.
The book will make good fire-starter when winter returns.
