Not likely at LANL? Maybe at "transition" by the new contractor to flush the "old folks > 50 years old"?
No need. All NNSA has to do is allow, or require, the new contractor to reduce benefits or retirement options, and the 30% of the LANL workforce who are older, experienced, and could retire tomorrow if they wanted to, will do so. The young, inexperienced new hires will have to figure out all by themselves how to turn out the lights.
Any other fools out there who think they deserve a freebie from the government to guarantee them a happy life with no need to work?
