I saw the LMSC THAD interceptor missile in Sunnyvale some years ago. Very impressive ! Looked like two stages. Also saw the Trident. At least 6 ft in diameter and 30 ft long. Lots of room for MIRV's !

As for Trident, if it works why change it ?
I would change the kinetic "kill" warhead on the THAAD to a tactical Nuke however.
There is also a "wild" claim in some defense quarters that we have "brilliant pebbles" type ICBM killer satellites in orbit. Top Secret.
