The Trump administration reins in a nuclear weapons safety watchdog
"The Trump administration, acting in an open partnership with the profit-making contractors that control the industrial sites where U.S. nuclear bombs are made and stored, has enacted new rules that limit the authority and reach of the Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board, created by Congress in 1988 amid broad public concerns over civil and military nuclear safety lapses."

What a wretched ideological hit piece. There is no effort to understand the background to the story, never mind objectively - instead the automatic assumption is, scaling back the DNFSB = less oversight = less safe, with not very subtle suggestions that it's all about corporate profit and Republican ideology. Remind me to never take seriously anything coming from the center for public integrity.
Any effort to eliminate the DNFSB is a step in the right direction.
