Yup, enough rain water is to be captured off the roof of the central cafe to water all those lush plants EM loves to look at. Buuuut, just in case it isnt enough they are tapping into our water supply from Hetch Heychy to keep the tanks full to make it look good!!

Can a few more FTE's and use the money for the water. Problem solved.
I guess the water is going to be trapped by the theater they are building also.
At least the best project at LLNL will look good. My concern is how much does a single shot at NIF will cost and how much will it take to mainatin the facility of all its needs.
Behind NIF is a trailer with a sign that says "Facilities construction management" or something like that.
There is nothing being constructed.
So, what is that for?
Seems Dr. EM didn't like looking at those unsightly athletic activities near the cafeteria and wanted landscaping and an amphitheater to hide it. When that was turned down for funding, it was retooled into a water reclamation pilot of questionable pedigree (that just happen to include landscaping and an amphitheater!). Suddenly, funding assured.
The NIF bubble will last a few years and then burst. Enjoy it know.
Before you know it, the Superblock will be almost empty, the weapons program will be in LANL, and NIF will have gone the way of NOVA and other lasers.
At least the Lab is polluted. Job security if you're into environmental restoration.
Someone should ask the IG to investigate this. I would, but I can't risk losing my job now that my wife has lost hers.
All part of EMS . . .
