As far as promoting women and minorities even if their qualifications are not as good as the white male scientists, I am all for it. We need diversity at the lab and if that is what it takes, so be it. Quit your whining. Look around the lab, what do you see? White male geezers. How many African Americans do you see at the lab? Virtually none. LLNL is one of the MOST undiverse places you will see. Face it folks, LLNL is an institution of white male privilege and they don't want to give up their privileged positions. California, a state of majority Hispanics has the "crown jewel" LLNL nestled in the middle of it with very FEW Hispanics at all!

And, the metastasizing of bicycle trails under prolonged exposure, does seem to have a surprizing palliative effect.
And, the disposition and beauty of female employees at LLNL has remained constant or even increased over the decades, raising the question, do human females thrive in an intense imaginary radiation flux?

Agreed. In addition to the contamination issue there must be some genetic predisposition at work, and also one wonders why, if the wells were contaminated, that you continued to drink from them? Forty years ago was the early 70's and many rules were already in effect (the Clean Water Act amendments of 1972, although it was new at the time) for drinking water. If you haven't sought Federal advice and aid, you should. The question of LLNL responsibility in your case should be easily answered.
