First look at what it takes to reopen WIPP after LANL drum blew
The Energy Department has identified 7,000 steps needed to reopen its badly damaged nuclear waste dump in New Mexico, but cannot say how long it will take or how much it will cost.

The Energy Department has no brains to identify steps. They had one of their contractors at WIPP identify the steps. And as usual, there is no schedule or budget identified for the effort. Classic DOE/NNSA, a disgrace and disservice to the American public.
It blows my mind that not one manager "head" has "rolled" at LANS on this drum fiasco and being responsible for shutting down WIPP. In fact, all the Transuranic Managers at LANL are headed to a Waste Management Conference in South Carolina to lay on the beach to eat lobster tails and langostino for one week. No accountability at LANS. Where the GAO and DOE IG when you need them?
Congress is so consumed with trying to "Screw The Black Guy"...
THANKS OBAMA!!!!!
