Honestly, corruption is probably the least of their problems. The main problem is gross incompetence, inbreeding, and outdated management practices that make Dilbert look like Google. People have a tenancy to assume that something so screwed up must be illegal, but in reality, never underestimate the power of stupidity.

Combine the contract for both SNL and LANL into one bid and then let SNL run things from their side.

It could make operations more efficient and cheaper if done properly.

There is some rumors that that there is a plan to let Lockheed Martin run the whole thing. Another rumor is that Lockheed Martin will get LANL and UNM/UTexas will get Sandia, so that Sanida will turn into the science lab and LANL will be the clean up and the engineering lab. It is all rumors at this point so who knows, but Charlie did send message out that LANL workers cannot work on a lab bid on lab time, hmmm, that could explain why so many LANL managers are not to be seen.
