"A top DoE scientist who liaised with Congress on the matter was fired by the Obama administration for being too forthright with lawmakers, according to the report, which provides an in-depth look at the White House’s efforts to ensure senior staffers toe the administration’s line."

This shows the quality of leadership in DOE. Her research had nothing to do with biofuels. The program was the health effects of low levels of radiation e.g. whether the assumed linear model that informs limits is correct or whether the ability of a cell to repair DNA damage mitigates the effects of low radiation levels meaning that health effects are non-linear with radiation dose.
Here is Dr. Noelle Metting's statement of fact submitted on the record to Congress.

FreeBeacon, yet another conservatard site full of BS. I like the free dufle bag with signing up for NRA (National Rejects Association), however I think the sites frequent visitors and the right wing nutz that frequent this site would be better off signing up for the ACLU so that way they can get the complimentary punch in the face that they justifiably deserve.
