Virtually none. LLNL is one of the MOST undiverse places you will see. Face it folks, LLNL is an institution of white male privilege and they don't want to give up their privileged positions. California, a state of majority Hispanics has the "crown jewel" LLNL nestled in the middle of it with very FEW Hispanics at all!

I’m still trying to figure out what went in there with Trump trying to buy Greenland from Denmark by the bizarre tactic of publicly blurting out to the entire world that he wants to buy Greenland from Denmark??? And then when the Danish Prime Minister predictably turned down the offer Trump got all upset and cancelled a meeting with her? The question is not how effective the walls are or if they are hot enough to burn the skin of women, children. The question is
why should we even have walls at all to keep out asylum seekers people who want to work and and pay taxes.
You do know that immigrants commit less crime than the US born citizens. If you want to lower crime in your city than "flooding it with migrants who cross the border illegally will lower the crime rate. You also know that these immigrants give much more to the system than they take. Look at all the tax money they pay. Why should we pay 100 billion to make a wall that will not work, is immoral and will cost more money and raise crime. Think about it.

The point is that we should not be a crime for people to cross the border. The idea that the United States can hog up all the resources and wealth is sad. It is time we pay are fair share. Many of the problems in Mexico are a direct result of our actions so it is just that their people can come and take part in some of the wealth that they in fact created.
You are insane. A country without enforced borders is not a sovereign country. But that's your goal, isn't it? The US isn't "hogging" wealth, it is creating it. See the difference?

Europe has many open borders, and yet they still have sovereign nations, they are also culturally way ahead of America in most ways. My year abroad in France for school was fantastic. The idea of the "Nation state" is dying and in 50 years will pretty much be gone, which will reduce war, reduce poverty, help the environment and lead to to more equality for all people not just select groups. Why is this a bad thing? Since it is an NNSA blog a good question is what do we do with the nukes when this comes about? I understand that we still have Russia to contend with which wants to remain a country in light of the growing globalism but once this collapse there is no need for nukes anymore. I know some of you thinking China is a threat but the reality is China is is the future. Say what you want about social credit but it will be coming and there is no stopping that. Once become truly global the need for nukes will be gone.
Perhaps you are familiar with Start Trek? Did it ever occur to you that in the future that there is no countries only earth. America does not have a wall with Mexico.

Weal this finite just as are the resources of earth In case you have not noticed California is up in smith, hurricanes and destroying whole nations and refugees are fleeing drought regions. The idea of economic growth MUST END. The wealth is finite right now and needs to be reduced and in order to be fair we must spread it around and than purse a new economic model that is not based on individuals amassing huge amounts of wealth, people buying huge houses, each family having two or even one car, endless meat eating and getting fat. That form of existence is coming to end one way or another. One way would be to wake up to the fact that we cannot go on like this, the other is to keep going until there is total collapse and yes even the very rich will suffer. I say we wake up and stop the madness, the labs can play a part in this with green engird, climate modeling, meat alternatives, and just changing an attitude. The first thing you need to do is realize that wealth is finite.
How dare you disparage Greta because of her age. She speaks clearly with wisdom well beyond her age. She knows the science and can look at the word with clear eyes. What have you ever done? The reality is that we don't need borders. We have plenty of money for everyone the problem is it is all in the hands of the billionaires. This needs to change, and hopefully with Warren as President it will change.

One thing that will change with Warren is that there will be no more private secondary insurance backing up Medicare for the health care that it doesn't cover. Good luck with that !
