TRIAD, a year later

Well we are coming up to the first year of Triad. Things appear to be on upward slope, at least things have not gotten worse. The only people I know that are not happy are a select few managers who seem to be in a state of shell shock after LANS got thrown out. I would guess these are the people on the Bechtel team or some losing team. I happen to know a few who really believed Bechtel was going to win for sure.

Nothing has really changed. Same managers, same problems, less corporate speak. That is all.

I don't know about things not getting worse ... I think TRIAD is just better at covering accidents related to LANL. A nice example is the Cesium 137 release at Harborview Medical Center at the Univeristy of Washington. The event happened in May. Contaminated the entire facility and several people were exposed. Renowned off-site source recovery program is at fault, which is managed by LANL..

I am confused I was reading the news and even though he is impeached he is not removed???!!!! How the hell can that be true, impeachment is impeachment, that means Trump should be gone.

Bloggers here will do well to pay attention in their 10th grade civics course, especially when teach goes like "the constitution says" about that stuff called impeachment.

Try to study a bit of the Constitution. Impeachment in the House is the first step, like indictment for a crime. Then the Senate tries the impeachment case to determine if the President is removed from office. Jeez, are people on this blog so completely ignorant about how their government works?

Tri-Valley Cares needs to be on this if they aren't already. We need to make sure that NNSA and LLNL does not make good on promises to pursue such stupid ideas as doing Plutonium experiments on NIF. The stupidity arises from the fact that a huge population is placed at risk in the short and long term. Why do this kind of experiment in a heavily populated area? Only a moron would push that kind of imbecile area. Do it somewhere else in the god forsaken hills of Los Alamos. Why should the communities in the Bay Area be subjected to such increased risk just because the lab's NIF has failed twice and is trying the Hail Mary pass of doing an SNM experiment just to justify their existence?
