When you start forcing people to believe (or at least fake to believe) in a single philosophy you being to approach why the nuclear weapons complex of the United States was established. Remember that the Manhattan project came from the fear that Germany had the knowledge of splitting the atom and we had to develop the weapon before they did.

Most totalitarian regimes prevent their people from leaving. I believe you are quite free to do so at any time.
