I hope that after the election (or at least, after the election result is known), the craziness and vitriol here will subside and we can get back to the purpose of this blog. But right now the country is collectively losing its mind.

Ok, than post something interesting. Is Bechtel going to out of LLNL any time soon? How is talent retention?
Like most things that depend on input data, it is a case of Garbage In - Garbage Out or GIGO for those who love the world of acronyms. You also can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. I am sure the ad hominem attacks will continue and this LLNL blog will continue to be about LANL.
As to whether or not Bechtel is leaving LLNL, I would venture to say that depends on what palms are or are not being greased in Washington. If the water levels in the swamp are once again on the rise, Bechtel will continue their feed at the trough, especially if they are willing to resume CRT.
I am the OP on this thread. I see no hope based on the responses (and the deletions) so far.
