A former LLNS employee stole 43,000 pounds of copper worth over 100,000 dollars from 2011 to 2014. Did any heads roll from that?

Hey, I know several real cowboys. They work hard and long every day, and they are honest and don't steal anything. You need to back off your bigotry against cowboys.

The article states that the crime occurred over a 4 year period. You would think that internal audits would have flagged some of the illicit purchases long before this. The theft of the copper at LLNL and earlier with the fellow at LLNL running a porn site on the lab's computer network revealed lax measures within the gates. I wonder if a lenient plea deal will occur so Sandia won't have to testify avoiding the display of internal incompetence.
