Here is an odd one that may be related to the labs. There is suddenly a bunch of talk about UFOs being with the Pentagon now confirming much of the recent military videos. Now Obama has confirmed that these things are real. So if this stuff is a real and they start investing money into it would the labs going to get involved in someway.

Just kidding. Those navy ufo videos are not exactly convincing.
I was looking on the web to see if anything showed up with Los Alamos and UFOs. All I got was some information of from something called "Half-Life" I assume that is video game.
But I did find some fun poster from the Los Almaos study group. Some of these are great. I kind of like the "do onto others" and "The Vatican does not approve". My favorite is

So Obama was briefed (as every president since Eisenhower) that "we see these things and we don't know what they are." No sensor readings, just optical or infrared. No significant expenditure of funds to find out the truth, or at least no known results for over 60 years. SETI finds nothing. At least now the military is admitting they see things they don't understand. How about those military pilots who see things "every day" get to carry sophisticated spectrometers and high speed cameras?

I agree it is BS, it does not however seem to be conservative thing as CNN, 60 mins, and NYT are all putting this stuff out as well. Plenty of left wing web sites are also talking about this. Seems more like a total fad that appeals to all sorts of people.
Elon Musk, had a chart of quality of cameras versus quality of ufo photos which kind of debunks this. On the other hand bizarre things get funded by the Pentagon so maybe the lab can get in on the money to explore better camera equipment or something.
I was watching this Tucker Carlson clip where he was criticizing the implementation of CRT in the military. It went on and on and ended up making the point that we cannot defend the republic from UFOs if all we care is about wokeness. He used some 60 minutes footage of some “former CIA” guy who looked like he worked at a car wash. It all had my head spinning. I still think I was having some sort of hallucination.

Maybe he worked on cleaning cars for the CIA. You know the CIA, FBI, NNSA are big organizations with thousand of employees. Any ex employee including a grounds keeper can say " I worked at so and so" even though the actual jobs was filling vending machines with candy bars. Even LLNL has a guy call Ed Lazar a UFO area 51 conspiracy guy claimed to have been a physicists at the nuclear weapons labs , however he does appears to any college degrees and no one seems to remember him. He talks about working with Ed Teller on UFO propulsion.
Another thing is there are plenty of videos on YouTube the give pretty good arguments that all the recent ufo navy videos are bunk. The latest one was a triangle flying by a ship near California. The first issue is that it has blinking likes that have there exact same timing that commercial airfact do. The other thing is that many of the other far away lights look triangular as well which is sure bet that it is lens effect. I watched the Carlson clip of the a new on of a object landing in the water. The problem there is that it just happens to land in the water just at the horizon line which is a sure sign that it just went over the horizon (the earth is round) and not into the water. I good guess is that it was a plane or a flare that was just really far away. The videos look like junk but I never see any of the MSM bring a debunker on instead we get the ex CIA guy saying " they are real!" Now what I do not get is why are people like Obama saying maybe there is something there, along with others like Rubio and that former Senator from Nevada. Is it some weird thing for political gain, to confuse China, or just a sign that things are getting really silly.
Ok, just for fun one could argue that we are just in a big simulation that was suppose to go until 2010, but simulation was left on and it is just running crazy now, so we have realty TV show hosts as president, gender becoming a social construct, Covid, Greta Thunburg, the Kardasians becoming billionaires, the SAT being dropped, BITCOIN, Doge Coin, Flat earth conspiracies, Game Stop stock spike, Bill Gates, Fauci, Capital insurrections, Q-annon and Jake Paul boxing matches and now UFOs are real. Are we headed toward some great singularity or is someone just going to reboot the computer as the simulation is now just spitting out garbage.

I was just watching a podcast on systemic racism and police shootings and how we are just not coming to terms with our collective responsibility in maintaining this system. They mentioned that the recent UFO push is just a way for American to ignore the recent events since protests and it all done on purpose to deflect from the real issues of the nation should be addressing. In other words we would rather talk about UFO's than fixing our police forces, prison systems, inequality and equity. The idea is that systematic racism is very large and in the system itself will mount defenses to protect itself. Oddly enough it could be the UFOs are real and have been covered up but the system is scared about the racial awakening that they will now reveal the truth about UFOs in order to preserve the system that is inherently racist. In many ways this is consistent with critical race theory, the everything is ultimately based on race, this would also mean most major government action are simply based on ways to preserve power based on race. Also Tucker Carlson is a known right wing racist pushing the UFO narrative on his show pushes his real agenda. The rise of UFOs in the media is being done for a reason do not fall for it.
We get it. Everything is racist or guiding us away from talking about being racist.

A report is suppose to come out in June which is will probably determine if this is a real national security issue which will get funding. In principle if it is real then I think the labs could actually offer something just as they have done in the past for all sorts of national security science.
On the other hand from just looking at the videos I have real doubts that there is anything to it. It could of course be a big scam to try and get more money for the military but this would kind of be stretch if you ask me. Perhaps there is some other videos out there that actually look better than the garbage we have so far.

1. They're real.
2. Nobody has come up with an explanation for them other than them being aliens.
3. We've "communicated" with them in the sense of sending and receiving wireless messages, but the messages received haven't been intelligible.
