From the Huffington Post Why Workplace Jargon Is A Big Problem http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/04/25/work-words_n_5159868.html?utm_hp_ref=business&ir=Business When we replace a specific task with a vague expression, we grant the task more magnitude than it deserves. If we don't describe an activity plainly, it seems less like an easily achievable goal and more like a cloudy state of existence that fills unknowable amounts of time. A fog of fast and empty language has seeped into the workplace. I say it's time we air it out, making room for simple, concrete words, and, therefore, more deliberate actions. By striking the following 26 words from your speech, I think you'll find that you're not quite as overwhelmed as you thought you were. Count the number that LLNLs mangers use. touch base circle back bandwidth - impactful - utilize - table the discussion deep dive - engagement - viral value-add - one-sheet deliverable - work product - incentivise - take it to the ...

In case you have not noticed China is not the enemy. Even if the guy was working for China so what, we trade with China and unlike Russia it does not to take over nearby nations. I do not want to hear "What about Taiwan!" First of all we should not talk about "what about sims" Taiwan belongs to China anyway so why is that an issue. I say forget about Gang Chen and China and worry about Russia. Russia interfered with our elections, colluded with Trump, Trump destroyed the country and now Russia needs to pay. We have to be made of tougher stuff and make some sacrifices to defeat Russia.
The Biden administration is shutting down a Justice Department program that focused on countering Chinese espionage, following stumbles in a series of criminal cases and accusations that it amounted to racial profiling.
Officials said Wednesday that the three-year-old effort, known as the China Initiative, was being cast aside largely because of perceptions that it unfairly painted Chinese Americans and U.S. residents of Chinese origin as disloyal.
“By grouping cases under the China Initiative rubric, we helped give rise to a harmful perception that the department applies a lower standard to investigate and prosecute criminal conduct related to that country or that we in some way view people with racial, ethnic or familial ties to China differently,” Assistant Attorney General for National Security Matthew Olsen said in remarks prepared for delivery at George Mason University in Virginia.

Wow. No, Taiwan does NOT "belong to" China! Are you so ignorant of the history of Taiwan and it's independence? Please educate yourself. It is amazing to me that leftists think China is wonderful and Russia is evil, and rightists think Russia is wonderful and China is evil. They are both evil, brutal, genocidal dictatorships!! Wake up!!

If China hates Trump then they are wonderful. If Russia likes Trump they are evil. It is not that complicated. Make no mistake this is all about Trump and his crazy misinformation driven cult followers.

Perhaps you do not mean this way but this comes across as a bit racist and paranoid. Asians are not "others" and just because they different than you does not mean they are trying to steal anything.

I am referring to Chinese intelligence operations. I don’t know how you conflate that with race. China is a country with a government and a military. When someone say the name of a country in in this context it has nothing to do with race. I don’t even understand your logic.
This is due to systemic racism. You are still thinking of racism like in the old days when you openly insult people, or have a law the
certain groups could not buy a house or ride in certain parts of the bus. That kind of open racism is gone but racism still controls most things political in the nation via it being in the system itself. You may not see it the system the rules and institutions have racism built in.
For example the security agencies such as the CIA and the FBI racism inherently built in them, so when the investigate possible Chinese spying it will be caked with all sorts of racism. They may overcharge, they may assume things are way worse or as we have seen time and time again charge people that are innocent. For example the MIT case, the Temple university case, Kansas and endless others turned out to be nonsense. This cannot be coincidence but built on racism. You simply cannot trust these agencies. How many of the other cases are probably false as well. Even the LANL case essentially fell apart and they had to drop so many charges that that
no jail time was ever served.
The blatant wokeism is getting nauseating. Of course, it is probably sarcasm by some troll. At least I hope so, for the sanity of our body politic.
