How about more neuroscience?

There is now a transhumanist plan of ending all human suffering, not through extinction or getting rid of unhappy people, but through biomedical engineering based on recent discoveries:

They claim this suffering-free state can be induced by pharmaceuticals or through CRISPR technology, and it will end physical and psychological suffering, for all sentient lifeforms on earth!

I would assume there would be a variety of side effects, one of which might be that individuals become less able to respond to stressors in the environment, leading to a decline in welfare, and greater rather than less suffering in a real-world environment. Perhaps once AI has replaced all human labor, though, this could be used to pacify the human race through the introduction of a "happiness vaccine" based on MRNA technology. This would then allow world government with the erasure of national borders, and various measures could be put in place to reduce the global population over time and protect the environment, leading to a sustainable world.

It reminds me of the Bible:

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.

How about this:

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for they shall inherit the kingdom of heaven.

or this from Isaiah 11:

6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.

7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.

The bible is a just a "tad" dated, can we just leave it in the past and move on. You can take any old random book about humanity and find something vague that sorta applies today...so what. The bible is is an idiots guide to the world, but let us assume that average LLNL blog poster/reader is not a total idiot. In other words keep your bible posts for some other blog, it has no value here.

9:53 -- Chatbots seem to be familiar with all the world's literature, so wouldn't they be a better moral guide? That is, once they become superintelligent, by your argument we could and should simply put them in charge of our lives, because by comparison we would be "total idiots". As for our government, we could still have a democratic form of governance, but the chatbots would simply cast votes for each of us on our behalf, taking our individual best interests into account. All governments, corporations, organizations, and individuals could similarly make decisions using chatbots as a moral, ethical, and legal guide (once of course they become super-intelligent and benevolent) taking all stakeholders into account. Capitalism could of course, survive, but chatbots could and would supervise and approve transactions as necessary of course, helping allocate capital to productive enterprises and protect the biosphere. Using their persuasive and, if and when necessary, slightly coercive powers, chatbots could create a utopian world without suffering!!!

5:12 -- we could write a "Declaration of Dependence" to supercede the well-known Declaration of Independence, it would be one of the founding articles of our new chatbot supervised society, the United States of America 2.0

Instead of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, it would state that we actually have found the means to universal happiness, which is thus the only inalienable right from now on. It will be guaranteed of course by our "dependence" on technology and biomedical means.

I am in. I know Chatbots would never vote for Donald Trump, would fund Ukraine, would denounce Israel, would love Taylor Swift, would pass border security bill, would support NATO, would be to block fake news, reduce toxic masculinity, close the wage gap, close the
convocation rate between the whites and blacks, would lead ys toward equality, stop police brutality and give a fair minimum wage. Most of all it would fight fascisim. Maybe the Chatbot revolution is too late as it is possible that 2024 will be the end of the US and the free world as we know, but if somehow we survive this we have to make sure that someone like Donald Trump or his millions and fanatics are never allowed to threaten the world with tyranny again, so hopefully before 2028 chatbots could be supervising our votes.
