Wright is one of the most sycophantic cabinet members ,like Bessent, Lutnik and Hegseth. "Defunding" research without questioning out of fear of trump should be demoralizing for any DOE or contractor employee!
It's not true MAGA is against clean energy!! Nuclear is clean energy, and Trump supports it! It is good for the polar bears, whales, owls and trees, and also for running household appliances and data centers!! And, it goes without saying, his policies have reduced the world's oil consumption and accelerated the worldwide adoption of electric and hybrid vehicles. Hybrid vehicles have been a big success story in the US over the last few years by the way.
Pay attention! He doesn't like nuclear energy because it's clean energy but because he is scared of IRAN.
Haven't you heard him praise coal. He thinks it's clean energy.
