Just think. If they'd zero out NASA budget we'd actually have funds to do something useful for the nation. Oh I forgot we have to get out of Iraq and put $11B a month into alternative and renewable energies and we'd be well on our way to telling the sand people to pound sand.
I wonder if this is pay back to JPL employees who recently won a court case against NASA and the government's attempt to implement more intrusive background checks at the Lab. See the history at
