And the bad news just keeps on coming. Poor Charlie. Another IG report on LANL on his watch. How much more can he take?

No amount of lawsuits will help LANS manage LANL. It looks as if though this is another failed attempt to operate LANL. Nice try LANS....but it's not working out.

If this report is not a work of fiction, there is some explaining to be done over more than 400 million in cost spread over several years. A million here and a million there, pretty soon you are talking about real money. This sure looks like real money.

LANS will simply cover these cost by raising the already high overhead taxes on staff labor rates by 2000%.

Problem solved.

What a little over $400 million in illegal expenditures among friends, huh? Besides, everyone knows that building contractors like Bechtel like to "pad" their costs estimates a bit.... sorta like they did with the now canceled CMRR.

Unallowable Costs??,, what really is `unallowable'?..this is possibly just a big misunderstanding among friends. A dozen roses, bottle of nice wine, quiet dinner, and we can all work this out.
