Defense Department Successfully Conducts Warhead Sled Test LLNL served as technical lead and integrator on an important test to assess a new conventional warhead designed by the Lab. Congrats to LLNL and to the individuals involved! This is the second time that I have heard that LLNL expertise has been applied to develop non-nuclear warheads. I know that the first was welcomed immediately by the "users". I bet this one will be the same.
