Did performance failures associated with the near fatal electrical incident at LANSCE this year constitute a significant or “First Degree” performance failure with respect to the contract’s Environmental, Safety and Health terms and conditions?
Tri-Valley Cares needs to be on this if they aren't already. We need to make sure that NNSA and LLNL does not make good on promises to pursue such stupid ideas as doing Plutonium experiments on NIF. The stupidity arises from the fact that a huge population is placed at risk in the short and long term. Why do this kind of experiment in a heavily populated area? Only a moron would push that kind of imbecile area. Do it somewhere else in the god forsaken hills of Los Alamos. Why should the communities in the Bay Area be subjected to such increased risk just because the lab's NIF has failed twice and is trying the Hail Mary pass of doing an SNM experiment just to justify their existence? Those Laser EoS techniques and the people analyzing the raw data are all just BAD anyways. You know what comes next after they do the experiment. They'll figure out that they need larger samples. More risk for the local population. Stop this imbecilic pursuit. They wan...

But, we must wait a few more weeks to see if NNSA has the courage to do the right thing about it.

Wasn't Reis being honest telling the Science and Engineering Advisory Board in 1997 "that it's the same old day-in and day-out safety and security issues at Los Alamos"? It's ok, it's still true today.

Everyone keeps asking you to produce a written record of such a statement, but apparently citing a reference for a dubious claim is beyond you.
"It's the same old day-in and day-out safety and security issues at Los Alamos", Dr. Victor "Vic" Reis, former Assistant Secretary for Defense Programs, DP-1, Department of Energy, 1997

Brought to you by the Joseph Goebbels of the blogosphere. (If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it)
It is all I have, so I am going with it. The world revolves around me, I am special, LANL is bad since it did not recognize me for the genius or the unique snowflake that I am. The world also is bad. I have no idea who Reis is or what he said but I need to some hope that someone else out there hates LANL is much as I do, so I will repeat this lie over and over again.
