Charlie's wife
Charlie's wife is a nurse in Occupational Medicine. The position was a new position created as part of the hiring of McMillan as Lab Director; it was negotiated with Norm Pattiz and Glen Mara when he had his UCOP VP job. Dr. Scherer raised concerns but they were over ridden by AD Brandt. The rest is history. Unexcused absences, poor performance, and cookie baking in the Occ Med kitchen.

Had heard about the cookie baking from several sources, and just assumed that was why she was hired by LANL.
Mara wasn't in the job when Charlie was put in the LD job. That would have been Bruce Darling. But does sound like a Pattiz deal. Why would they do it then and not when he was the weapons PAD and they were trying to get him to come the Los alamos?
Lab wives that don't work and have to live in Los Alamos = alcoholics.
Give Charlie a break.
I guess your own sad experience has caused you to generalize inappropriately.
You guys are brutal losers for attacking a nurse who isn't a public figure, because she happens to be Charlie's wife. Get a life.

So in addition to having a paid position at LANL and not working, are you now adding in that she was known to be drunk while on duty?
