I'll say this much for Honeywell, at least they got rid of all the incompetent, entirely unqualified affirmative action and nepotism sourced leadership team and replaced it with people that at least have basic qualifications and experience. The way Lockheed let things slide, SNL could change its name to "New Mexico State Labs - Exceptional Job Programs in the State Interest".
I wonder if that means Lockheed is out, out. They sold their Nevada LLC to Leidos, and they're out of SNL, so who is left to manage? LANL?
LANL?

Yes, it is a done deal.
Does that mean that the next LANL management team is those now managing Sandia?

Couldn't be, LANL is always managed by the same people they just shuffle them around. Same monkeys different trees.

You have a short memory,4:55PM, or you haven't been around for very long. At the last contract change the senior management of LANL was handed over on a platter to its arch-rival LLNL. There is no reason to believe that DOE/NNSA will not punish LANL again by doing the same thing at the next contract change

Not likely, the amount and type, and painfulness, of punishment is infinitely variable.
You guys at Sandia will love Steve Younger. I overheard three LANL weapon designers stating they could not stand him, while he worked at LLNL and LANL. Good luck guys!
I worked closely with Younger, although not as a designer. He did not tolerate fools gladly, and was very quick on the uptake, so it was not easy to fool him that you knew what you were talking about when you didn't. I just happened to see this a few times, and the resulting embarrassment of the designer in question was fun to watch.

Younger, as I recall, didn't tolerate much of anyone and anything with very poor listening skills. I agree, Sandia has no idea "what they are in for".
Steve is really smart, a quick study, and has a good nose for bullshit. Tread carefully, Sandians.
