Has anyone heard about another recent LANL crit safety violation? Word has been leaking out around the complex that they are covering up in order to avoid a large fine.

I wouldn't put this past Leasure. His mantra is: "protect the Laboratory at any cost".
There is another shoe about to drop. Let's see if LANL tries to cover it over with a news release aimed at bragging about how good they have been doing for the past five years.

Fines are tiny. They don't care. Bad publicity is unpleasant but it has made no difference.
No crit issues here. Maybe at your site but that's because you do no real work.
