Given the multiple "pay more get less" leadership failures with LANS which is composed very similarly to LLNS, shouldn't the NNSA proactively bid out the contract to manage LLNL in favor of the non-profit Triad model ASAP?

A well-functioning LANL is good for the country, so let's hope Triad is successful. Give LANL and SNL a few years to settle into their respective contracts and it won't be a surprise if NNSA calls the LLNL contract early.

Yes. And as someone noted earlier, with respect to success in managing LANL, the bar is currently low.
