New admin and NNSA labs

Now that the Dems have control of house, Senate and Executive branch will it have any effect on the NNSA labs?

It’s hard to say what’s going to happen. Many of these new weapons programs are well established by now and there would be problems cancelling them (like the new ICBM). Also, the labs have become sort of a public works program, particularly for NM. However, there could be pressure to fund other programs, and the big increases in NNSA spending are a nice, fat target.

Granholm is completely unqualified to lead the NNSA weapons program (O'Leary II). I'll wait to see who is nominated as NNSA Administrator.
