January 22, 2021 will go down in history as the day when the tide turned against nuclear weapons. That’s the day when the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons went into effect, signed by 122 countries. It specifically prohibits nations from developing, testing, using or threatening to use nuclear weapons and assisting others in doing so. It reinforces existing international law obligating all states not to test, use or threaten to use nuclear weapons.

I’m pretty sure the US is not a party to this farce.
Pfftt! If it isn't a US law or ratified Treaty, it is not "illegal," except in some liberals' fever dream.
Big Whoop. Look at the list and you will note that none of the countries that have nuclear weapons signed this treaty. Israel who has not stated they have them (they do) did not sign. Iran and Iraq did not sign. And what will the countries that did sign do to those that didn't. Will they stop trade with the U.S., Great Britain, Russia, China, France, India and Pakistan?

Well Honduras signed so that is major step.
Los Alamos County removed a sign to that effect from it's entrance monument last week. Pursuant to local code, the sign owners have a period of time to claim the sign and pay the county's cost for removing it. I doubt anyone will claim it, although it appeared an expensive sign.
