Covid is skyrocketing in the US with record number of cases. At the same time LANL plans to go back to full time or at least 80% onsite work next week. This is insane, what where they thinking?
Tri-Valley Cares needs to be on this if they aren't already. We need to make sure that NNSA and LLNL does not make good on promises to pursue such stupid ideas as doing Plutonium experiments on NIF. The stupidity arises from the fact that a huge population is placed at risk in the short and long term. Why do this kind of experiment in a heavily populated area? Only a moron would push that kind of imbecile area. Do it somewhere else in the god forsaken hills of Los Alamos. Why should the communities in the Bay Area be subjected to such increased risk just because the lab's NIF has failed twice and is trying the Hail Mary pass of doing an SNM experiment just to justify their existence? Those Laser EoS techniques and the people analyzing the raw data are all just BAD anyways. You know what comes next after they do the experiment. They'll figure out that they need larger samples. On Dec 29 we just had 500k cases, this is beyond insane, why are we still allowing planes to fly, trains to runs, cars to be driving and the labs to stay open. Everybody needs to join in to stop Covid.
How many of those 5000k cases were asymptomatic?
How many required any bed space in a hospital?
How many deaths?
But by all means, stop the planes, trains and automobiles. Self isolate, hunker down with that six month supply of food, water and firewood you have stored up. Be prepared to defend your squirrel larder when those without your foresight attempt to take your end of the world supplies.
The vaccine will stop the spread.

Dec 30, now we are at 700k a day!!! this is the peak of the pandemic, at a 1% death rate we are going to be close to 10k dying a day. How can the labs stay open? How can then let people fly around. It is not putting all sorts of kids in the hospital is. This nation is broken.
