The news is reporting that Ukrainian intelligence is saying a specific Russian general is planing on poisoning Putin and taking over. Oddly enough this is one of the generals that is having some success in Ukraine. Well lets hope that the Russians don't catch on to this plan and it works.

One theory is that the push to defeat Russia now is that Ukraine has offered us a golden opportunity to bring down Russia. If Russia falls and Putin is thrown out the west can come
in and size the Russia nukes.
That would mean it wold be the west with Russia against China. Many think the real fight with world dominance will be between China and the rest of the Western world. We cannot go to war with China right now because Russia will step in, however if Russia is out of the way than it is game on.
That would pit 4000 nukes against China having 350. China is rapidly trying to build more so the window is short. We need to defeat Russia so that we can than go to war with China in nuclear exchange before they get to many of them.
The argument also goes that we have some anti-missile capabilities and only a small number of Chinas nukes would get to us, but if we lob 1k at them they simply cannot stop that many.
After this the world becomes one and Musk takes over and we go to Mars.
Ok it is bit far fetched but a number of people have said that stopping Russia or having them fall apart would be a huge advantage to the West in light of a China that is becoming heavily armed. In other words the Ukrainian situation has has huge opportunities and never let a good crisis go to waste.
