Some rumors: LANL has settled a case brought by the people who got put on unpaid leave for not getting the vaccine. These people have gotten paid out and are now back working at the lab again. I also have some other perks, but I do have the details. This whole thing was a complete disaster for LANL. From what I know, LANL was the only lab in the DOE complex that did this.

The point ins Civil war in the US is a real possibility, numerous professors have brought this up. However now some reports have come out that Canada is thinking about options if the US descends into civil war. I know it seems crazy but if Trump wins I do thinking people are going to accept that.   With the upcoming election it is time to mobilize the the labs to fight the ant-democratic forces. This link is great example of what the labs should doing to join the fight. This is network analysis that shows the nodes and links to groups that are against Ukrainian funding. It shows how they are interconnected.
