It looks like this is only the beginning and on this view graph we are given the facts. The intent is there to flush more people.
Also did you notice how he danced around the question as to what the work force should look like in the future at LLNL. If you listen closely you will hear him say, there will be FTE professionals, but, all support will be term or contract. That long time relationship with their employees does not apply to blue collar worker, period.
more supplemental labor to hit the streets. Gee, I wonder how many have security clearances? Think they will be selling secrets? I have read on this blog that is what the laid off FTE's will be doing so it would be safe to assume supplemental labor will be doing the same.
Remember what Wong said when he was asked why is it that all term and contract employees were no paid off before any FTE. Did you hear his reply. Here's what he said, "I though FTE's were the flexible work force". Isn't that a kick in the teeth and reinforces exactly what the previous posted heard Miller say. We're all Screwed with a capitol S
I find it interesting that 121 people just outright quit, not even waiting around to take the voluntary separation and pay. The shows how bad things really are.
