Tri-Valley Cares needs to be on this if they aren't already. We need to make sure that NNSA and LLNL does not make good on promises to pursue such stupid ideas as doing Plutonium experiments on NIF. The stupidity arises from the fact that a huge population is placed at risk in the short and long term. Why do this kind of experiment in a heavily populated area? Only a moron would push that kind of imbecile area. Do it somewhere else in the god forsaken hills of Los Alamos. Why should the communities in the Bay Area be subjected to such increased risk just because the lab's NIF has failed twice and is trying the Hail Mary pass of doing an SNM experiment just to justify their existence? Those Laser EoS techniques and the people analyzing the raw data are all just BAD anyways. You know what comes next after they do the experiment. They'll figure out that they need larger samples. I asked that question at one of those transition meetings and they hemmed and hawed and basically said there was no cap.
Parney said it wouldn't go above 7%...but then Parney also said there would be a 80m LLNS contribution to the pension (never happened), your VSP choice would not be shared until after Thur (list already circulating), so...take it with a grain of salt.
The pension math is brutal once you no longer have a steady influx of new members at a (growing) base of the pyramid.
We have a ton of people in the 50-60 age range where they don't need to get any raises in order to get significant yearly pension increases. They need to incentivize those people out so they can arrest the yearly increase to COLA only.

Did you look up the modal forms of "would" yet? And how is the original sentence in the "wrong tense" when it is using the proper modal form? Or are you changing your excuses (admission that you were wrong on claiming "wrong tense")?
Here is another example of the same correct usage of the modal form for "would."

You are correct. I believe the original "nazi" was just trying to imply that NIF is already dead, which would be the implication of the form "Livermorons would have eaten their own babies just to keep NIF alive." It wasn't a grammar correction, it was a suggestion that that boat has sailed.

That is not correct. How can something be "likely" correct in this case? He didn't make any commentary to change the meaning of the original post. he used the word "wrong" For that, he is clearly wrong.
Lets go into a topic that is more intellectually stimulating than grammar and spelling. Topics like EoS and materials strength experiments on the NIF platform. Or better yet, status of the "fixes" for ignition

Sir, you are wrong. The post counts for EoS and ignition related topics are off the charts. Same with the levels of traffic and readership. NIF EoS and ignition threads are the big items. Just see past threads from August. People care a great deal.

Coming soon enough. Just run some spreadsheet taking in consideration a 10% cut in pay forever and up you 401k contribution by 2%, adjust your living style and do with less.
