Good point -Thanks for paying attention. So why not get going & get the HMX systems out of the stockpile? New pits, etc. why not - the safty & security improvements are well worth the cost.

Where did that come from? I took the comment that you quoted as sarcasm since the poster above implied that there is no HMX.
They missed the mark on morale, youth retention and the long-term national commitment. And senior leadership competence. And organization design and strategy. The important stuff.

Most will remember Philip Coyle was a senior manager at LLNL in the laser and weapons programs.
Scanning this report, it seems like that make a few good points. Especially the the proposed Mod of the B-61 is really a new system.
Do these people have an editor? The document is full of basic factual errors.
This group appears to be no more than a shill for JASON, recomending at least four JASON studies in the exec summary alone.

I think the report was interesting as well.
