Did you read the Mueller report it said Russia interfered with our electron and got Trump elected. They put fake posts on Facebook and comments on Huffington post. Heck they could be positing this blog and getting you to vote for Trump. Scooby maybe it would be best to shut this blog down since it might be influencing people.
Back to the funding issue. I think LANL is really good shape. I’m not a LANL person, by the way. I think they made a lot of good decisions in terms of the pit manufacture and also the efforts at U1a. Now they look like top priority and likely to survive budget cuts or any realignment. I don’t think the democrats will allow 25% yearly increases in NNSA budgets though. But there’s a lot of waste at the other labs.
As I understand it Trump has overfunded DOD for a few years to restock as previous President(s) had underfunded. I think (opinion) Trump has overfunded DOE for the same reason as we needed modernization in many areas. I am not sure how the Corona will affect this.

So Russia did interfere with the elections. Trump won by a small margin, so yes Russia got Trump elected. What part or implication did "interfere" with do you not get.
The interference was mainly on social media and took many tracks, both pro and anti Trump. Again, try being truthful.

Anti Trump? I never heard anything like this. What I remember is that Russian social media put out fake news targeted at certain ethnic groups not to vote, which apparently worked in part and was a factor in electing Trump. Why would the Russians have anti-Trump tracks? It makes no sense. Not once have I ever read or heard of Russians have both pro and anti-Trump ads. The story is that Russian had the hotel tapes, remember the Steele dossier, so with that of course they could get Trump do to their bidding if he ever got elected. Did you hear this from watching to much Fox news, that network should be shut down.
In any case we have to add some hard questions about how and if social media can be used in a democracy. Freedom of speech and freedom of press was one thing in 1780, our founding fathers could not envision a day when someone could just put out fake news for anybody to access. There needs to be official news sources, official information, official control. For example social media is spreading all sorts of lies about the Covid19 like it is caused by 5G, kill less than 1% of the people who get it, that actual treatments like Malaria drugs, that there are enough hospital beds, that it came from a Chinese lab and that we should open up some states by May. This is all fake news that our enemies foreign and now domestic can use. The 2016 election was the first shot in the war for democracy we have to make some hard choices about how and who can control and have access to information. You cannot say fire in a theater and you should not be able to say covid19 is caused by 5G, it is exactly the same analogy. It should not be legal to spread fake information that hurts people or fake information that elects politicians that hurt people.
In my opinion Russia has pretty close to an Oil based economy. It makes no sense why Russia would want an Energy Czar like Trump to be elected. In one of Trump's early speeches he specifically said and I saw this speech that the US has $50T in Energy and we need to tap it and he has followed through as USA is now energy self-sufficient and an energy exporter. Another argument would be that Trump is unpredictable so again Russia may not like that either.
It is also fair to say Crooked Hillary per the State Dept. was a (small) part of selling a US Uranium Company to Russia with I think Russia contribution to Clinton Foundation of $130m.
Consider Trump gave Ukraine anti-tank weapons and Obama sent blankets and MRE's. Also Trump Russia Dossier (DNC/Christopher Steele) proven to be phony. It just doesn't add up. BTW more coming soon as pitbull Durham AG report on FISA coming out this summer and it's going to be big.
So Trump being a Russian asset is getting old I think time to move on to another attack.

The electoral college makes no sense. And yes in case you have not noticed Trump has literally destroyed everything he touched. How is it that China has 3k dead and the US has 40k dead, yet the population of China is 10 times that of the US. That is because China did not think the virus was a hoax. Look at Europe they have only 20k dead yet have more people than the US, that is 37k people literally murdered by Trump because he said it was a hoax. The United States is the laughing stock of the world all because of Trump.
You are an example of what fake news can do to people. This is the reason we need to either limit fake news or stop certain people from having access to fake news. LANL funding will be cut as so many US lives will depend on this.
