Outstanding, also we need to get rid of people who believe in bigfoot, UFOs,watch Alex Jones, and read 4Chan. What I want to know is if suspect someone of reading Q-anon posts where and how do we report them? And lest be real clear here what about people who listen to Rush Limbaugh? Also how much of Qanon do you have to believe 1%, 10% 50%? Also I know some religions that are as crazy as Qanon can they be considered just as dangerous?

The legislation, titled the Security Clearance Improvement Act of 2021, requires applicants looking to obtain or renew their federal security clearances to disclose if they participated in the Jan. 6 rally in Washington—or another “Stop the Steal” event—or if they “knowingly engaged in activities conducted by an organization or movement that spreads conspiracy theories and false information about the U.S. government.”
Based on that last part, CNN, MSNBC, etc. interviews about the false Russia conspiracy theory should cost John Brennan his clearance, along with a bunch of others.
The craziness continues, on both right and left. This will not end well.

Be careful what you say on this blog. I am just being practical but things are changing fast and we are starting enter uncharted waters.
It is not keeping Qanon people from getting clearances that I am worried about it is all the people that already have clearances that we need to worry about. At least in Los Alamos there are lots of loony people, you see NRA, signs, gun racks, pickup trucks, and American flags all over, not to mention the lack of any kind of diversity. We need a real sweep that root these people out before it is too late.

As to having things to worry about, I used to post my latest targets from the gun range foray in my office.
There were fellows on the floor above me who did the same. They were better shots.
And this was Livermore, not the loonies of LANL.
But this would seen as micro-aggression now, and I won't do it anymore. Mainly due to retirement in another state. By the way most of the folks on my street have flagpoles with American flag proudly flying. Rounding up the loonies will take a little more effort than you might think.
Is this even constitutional under the first amendment? Can the US effectively deny someone employment because they have an opinion relating to the US government which is not seditious, but just a “conspiracy”? What if somebody believes the US faked the moon landings? Or if they believe the Federal Reserve is causing asset inflation? Or that Hunter Biden or Trump has illegal foreign influence? Who decides what is a conspiracy, the Ministry of Truth? I can’t prove the existence of God or QAnon or whatever thing you choose to believe in, but I can’t disprove it either. The Bible and Koran is arguably a big fat conspiracy theory. What if I have a theory that this conspiracy theory bill is merely a conspiracy to silence those who disagree with the ruling political party?

Agreed, there are two problems we need to address which are what to do about the employees that have already been hired and good enough definition of what is crazy talk. For example if someone says they disagree with the premises behind BLM does that count as crazy talk? If someone says they believe that one goes to heaven by eating the flesh of their God does that count as crazy talk? If someone believes that certain groups are in control and use their privilege to oppress others and communicate through coded language such as dog whistles, does that count as crazy talk? Does thinking that there are enough anomalies in the last election to make one think that some kind of fraud could have happened or that the very least the use of mass mail in voting could have been a major reason for such anomalies, does that count as crazy talk?
I have theory that people if asked what they thought our believed that most would have at least some beliefs could be counted as "crazy". For example what percent believe that 9-11 was inside job, how many believe in the supernatural, how many believe in secrete groups that control the world, how many believe that they are being held back by some group or another, that there is toxins in the food that are making us fat, that big-tech really is watching everything and steering some of your life, that we are living in a simulation, ESP, secret government bases, ect. Now I am not saying you are crazy if you think any of these things are possible I am just saying be careful who you label as crazy since under the right circumstances you would also be labeled as crazy.

I am not labeling anyone as crazy. But you provided lots of examples. The "labeling" will be done by job interviewers and for existing employees, job performance writers. Either way, if you think it is your right to talk crazy, you will be sorry.
