Looking back to 2007, did the contract with LLNS provide a value added to our DOE/NNSA missions or a setback compared to the UC/LLNL contract? What will likely change in the next contract to manage LLNL?

For profit LLCs like LLNS out, flat fee non-profit LLCs in (like TRIAD)
LLNL has made it work well enough. Added costs like sales tax were not a value add. DOE will probably go back to a flat fee structure. Hope they don’t call the contract early to institute the change.
