False. Just like olympics there are drift in the scores so that in reality the scores start at 87% as the very bottom, while 92% is the top score you could ever realistically get. So if you normalize there 0 to 100% LANL got got like 90% and Los Alamos 30% that is A to F when you are in school and just shows how crazy you get a 60% difference.
At least something good is going on in the Bay area with the LLNL scores. Right now we are in the midst of a huge Anti-Asian hate crime wave driven by racism in the Bay area. This is not ok, and shows that we can do better. I am not sure if this is driven by Covid claims or just anger by the results of the election but this needs to stop. What is crazy is that there are people like you who pull out statistics and say this is not correct but like all statistics you need to really know what they mean. Listen to the experts and stop trying to think you know better, you don't.

Who are the headquarter shills working on LLNS behalf, and how do they influence LLNS peformance scores? Perhaps the shills for the other contractors are just underperforming?
The discussion starts with the difference between the scores between the two labs, and it shifts to a HUGE wave of Asian hate crime. My hat is off to you sir/madam/other, why wait for a crisis to exploit, just shift discussion to fit your pet peeve, be it real or imagined. But keep posting, I like to be amazed.
Oh how I tire of the logical and cultural incoherence of the “then/than” guy. Washington, as a purely political place, has always had a soft spot in their hearts for the do-gooders with California votes. The fact that this cozy relationship is reflected in the performance appraisals is nothing new, nothing surprising, and nothing of significance.

It is what is called meta discussions I think the real foundation is on math. The scores of 87% and 91% shows very little difference, however if spun the right way shows the opposite, in that LLNL is 10 times better than LANL when in fact 4% is within noise so the labs did about the same. The spate of recent Asian hate crimes is another example of this. First it is not recent and has been going on for the last 30 years, second it is being spun as a white supremacy when in fact 90% of the all incidents do not involve this demographic yet 10% turns into 100%. The message is one needs to understand math and statistics to get the real story. Our media refuses to give real numbers about current events. If you think you are "informed" because you read the NYT, listen to NPR and look at the Huffinington Post, you are not. How often do any media ever give real numbers or statistics on anything.

LANL has much more risk since they do a lot more that LLNL so on average the score should be lower. However this compensated by the fact that fees ect are higher for LANL. Competition between LLNL and LANL is good but please be realistic about what any of these scores mean.

What about Kim Davis Lebak, who “decided” to retire in her early 50s at or about the same time the Director of LANS retired? Was she the queen of shills for LANS?
