A LLNS NIF Engineering Mansplainer

 A LLNS NIF Engineering Mansplainer

Like Governor Cuomo, a male LLNS NIF Engineering Manager by the name of “Dr. B” verbally attacked his much younger female subordinate so hard, that she sought protection and shelter from an understanding and tall 300 series Supervisor as she cried for abuse relief and wished to go home. This occurred during the NIF “Pulse Sync” first test.

“Dr. B.” was well known among NIF workers for his frequent anger outbursts or what one may call low emotional intelligence.

Did “Dr. B” ever receive any official written warning of his inappropriate actions against this young female engineer from LSEO management?

Just out of curiosity what if the story was exactly the same but the person who was "attacked" was male, would the story still be with telling or would the manager need to be reprimanded. In other words I don't get why gender is relevant to this story.

Ha, ha, ha, why off on that one... way off. Now back to the question, why is gender relevant to what happened?

It seems like you are either over thinking this or trying to deflect. Would it be more appropriate and descriptive to say something happened to somebody at sometime somewhere? No. Can this abuse happen to males too? Yes of course. No Ha ha.

6:18. It isn’t. Of course that won’t stop the triggered, woke, pseudo-progressives.

An actual response. Thank you. Yes I agree that the manager could be disciplined for abuse but I simply do not understand why the gender of the person was brought up. Do we have different standards for how men and women are treated? Is the bar for abuse much higher for men?

What is the point of the post 3/07/2021 8:39 PM? I cannot seem to make heads or trails of it. It comes across like one the arguments where you uses term like "narrative, harm, spaces, lived experiences, structural, institutionalized, deflection" and "literally" and saying since I used these words I am correct.

A Bully defined: "A person who habitually seeks to harm or intimidate those whom they perceive to be vulnerable".

Bully lab managers don't receive disciplinary actions from their line management. That's not how circling the wagons works.

Plutonium Shots on NIF.

Tri-Valley Cares needs to be on this if they aren't already. We need to make sure that NNSA and LLNL does not make good on promises to pursue such stupid ideas as doing Plutonium experiments on NIF. The stupidity arises from the fact that a huge population is placed at risk in the short and long term. Why do this kind of experiment in a heavily populated area? Only a moron would push that kind of imbecile area. Do it somewhere else in the god forsaken hills of Los Alamos. Why should the communities in the Bay Area be subjected to such increased risk just because the lab's NIF has failed twice and is trying the Hail Mary pass of doing an SNM experiment just to justify their existence? Those Laser EoS techniques and the people analyzing the raw data are all just BAD anyways. You know what comes next after they do the experiment. They'll figure out that they need larger samples. More risk for the local population. Stop this imbecilic pursuit. They wan...

Trump is to gut the labs.

The budget has a 20% decrease to DOE office of science, 20% cut to NIH. NASA also gets a cut. This will  have a huge negative effect on the lab. Crazy, juts crazy. He also wants to cut NEA and PBS, this may not seem like  a big deal but they get very little money and do great things.

LLNL un-diversity

Actual post from Dec. 15 from one of the streams. This is a real topic. As far as promoting women and minorities even if their qualifications are not as good as the white male scientists, I am all for it. We need diversity at the lab and if that is what it takes, so be it.  Quit your whining. Look around the lab, what do you see? White male geezers. How many African Americans do you see at the lab? Virtually none. LLNL is one of the MOST undiverse places you will see. Face it folks, LLNL is an institution of white male privilege and they don't want to give up their privileged positions. California, a state of majority Hispanics has the "crown jewel" LLNL nestled in the middle of it with very FEW Hispanics at all!
