Is US help adequate?

Question for people on this blog. What do you think of the failure of the NATO armed and funded Ukrainian military? This has now been documented by the Washington Post. It seems that US equipment, intelligence, and training was not adequate mount a successful counteroffensive. Want does this say about our other military technology, such as nuclear weapons?

I am confused, I thought Ukraine was easily beating Russia, Russia was broke, no one would do blindness with them and Putin would be gone. Russia would run out of supplies. I am very confused what happened? You mean the news reports that last year and half have not been exactly accurate? I cannot understand this.

In any case we need to defeat Russia before the 2024 election or else they will make every effort to put Trump in like they did in 2016
If Trump who would then declare himself dictator. At least that is what I am seeing in the news and social media.

12:49 -- it does make sense to be skeptical of any given news, that might help you avoid a state of confusion. Wars are intrinsically unpredictable as you know, and it is not over. We also know there can be strong incentives to mislead in order to gain a military advantage, and to generate or discourage support for any military endeavor.

I am not sure how Trump can "declare himself dictator" either, and I don't know of any particular claims to that effect, the actual worries people have are more nuanced. And are you sure in fact, Russia favors him in the 2024 elections?

People are finally coming to a realization that the country has sided with outright Nazis in that conflict. Pinched our noses and used them as sacrificial pawns to weaken Russia, who knew that Ukraine would out-corrupt us in their self-destructing genocidal pursuits. It is all about saving face for the us now, and no propaganda will cover up reputation losses.

How do any dictators start? I would guess Trump would come with some way to arrest a bunch of congress people who do not go along with him. They would then grant him more powers, which in turn he he uses to get even more power. Before you know you still have "Democracy" on paper but with one person with all the power who can stay in forever. Of course Putin would want Trump in, dictators always support each other. I find it amazing that people do not see the danger in this case or how Russia is not a a global threat we need to eliminate.
